I had a rather exotic childhood in such far flung countries as Greece, Turkey, Iraq and Lebanon,
so I have an affinity for languages and accents. I’m really only fluent in English, but I consider myself very comfortable in Italian, and can easily handle words and phrases in French and Arabic.
No matter where I lived, books were always my constant and I quickly discovered how much I loved to read aloud. Coming from a family of thespians, I caught enough of the acting bug to infuse my reading with characterization and emotion, not to mention humor when called for.
